THE VILLAGE
Les Allues is a small, pretty 14th Century village in Les Trois Valles (The Three Valleys) in France. It's different in character from the nearby modern town of Meribel, being much quieter and more suited to self-catering family holidays. There are all the facilities you will need for a great holiday with just a short walk to some excellent restaurants and bars, a ski hire shop and a general all round store and post office.

The chalet and apartment both have free wi-fi and are situated in the very centre of the village with good connections via the Olympic Gondola and a punctual bus service transporting you straight into the centre of Meribel within 15 minutes, directly into 600 km of runs and unlimited off piste, covered by 200 ski lifts.
 

THE CHALET at LA PETITE MAISON
The chalet is situated in the centre of Les Allues. The property is 200 years old, renovated to a high standard. Although "La Petite Maison" is "the little house" in French, its bedrooms and living space are larger than the norm as you can see from the photographs. The front door is on one street and the back door is in another.

The main chalet consists of four bedrooms - a double and a twin on the top floor sharing a shower room, and a double and twin on the first floor sharing a bathroom with shower; there's also an extra toilet on the ground floor. The lounge has a relaxing log fire, a flat screen TV and lots of DVDs and games to play if you're not too tired after you've been skiing and sampling the local beers and wines.

The kitchen is well proportioned and contains all the utensils and equipment you'll need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a lovely dining room with a cow bell to ring when dinner is ready. You have full use of a ski room and designated parking space. A full welcome grocery pack will be waiting for you on arrival. Good quality towels and bedding are provided.
